There must be over a million units with these switches worldwide. The problem unless you've been around a long time you might not know it. This switch goes behind the dash on vehicles with the ARA, Frigette and other unit manufacturer's units. The rivet is drilled out of the old switch and added to the new switch. A small nut and bolt does the job. The secret is once you get the handle operating smoothly, rough up the threads after the nut so it won't come apart. Piece of cake!!
