I’d like to introduce myself and the ACsource crew. My name is Warren Willingham. My friend and I had an idea that we could sell tools and equipment on the internet. This idea was brought to realization about 9 years ago. I’m writing this live so there’s no dates or figures in front of me. I wanted this to be off the cuff.

ACsource was started to provide the DIY public as well as shop customers with access to tools, equipment and some parts that are not normally available from your local parts place. It has been remarkably successful for a specialized, focused market.

We started the site with one item, the Variable Orifice Valve. It’s all history from there. We have somewhere in the area of 1000-1200 different items available today. It has been a lot of hard work, some disappointments (for you and us!) and a whole lot of fun! I have learned that the DIY people are, for the most part, thorough in their research, very receptive to advice and easy to deal with.

Through the last couple years ACsource has experienced problems generally caused by growth. We went through a season that saw us struggling to keep up with orders, contacts, phones, emails, etc! Changes in the structure of our site have solved many of our problems. As time goes by, we get better and better at what we can do to make you happy. Helping you solve you’re automotive A/C problems is our job. Many times just offering access to the proper tool is the way we help.

We will offer complete access to our phone “jockeys” so that your simplest to your most complex questions can be answered. We are structuring our site to help free up some of these people to be there just for you.

Well, I hope that I’ve given you a small idea about what ACsource’s goals are. We are very aware of one thing. Without you we could not exist. We thank you for helping us become one of the best known sites on the internet, in our field.
